"Providing the Highest Levels of Quality,
Innovation and Service
is Our Tradition and Our Future."
In 1915 The Victor
Talking Machine Co. introduced the phonograph, the Victrola. By 1919 Americans
spent more on phonographs and recordings than on musical instruments, books,
periodicals and sporting goods. 1915 was also the year of the first
transcontinental phone call and the first transatlantic radio telephone call
between Virginia and the Eiffel Tower in Paris. In December of 1915 Ford Motor
Co. produced its one-millionth Model T. In that same year, vine-ripened
tomatoes, hand picked in the fields, were conveyed to our cannery in Hollister
and the very first can of premium quality San Benito tomatoes rolled off
the line.
Much has changed since 1915, and fortunately, much has stayed
the same. Our tradition of excellence and high standards has not and will not
waiver. We still pack the highest quality California tomatoes in our original
Hollister facility, but have diversified and expanded our holdings to better
meet the needs of an ever-changing marketplace.
As food industry
competition increases, the need for manufacturers, distributors and operators
to provide VALUE has never been greater. With that in mind, we continue to
invest and innovate in our production facilities, information technology, raw
product sourcing, and our most important asset, our people.
Our family's
commitment to SERVICE and QUALITY is unparalleled in the industry and now
continues into the next generation. Nothing is more important than family, and
so long as the Jones name is on the package, you can rest assured, Jones
quality is contained within.
And Now For The Future
